When a Delivery Photo Shows More Than Just the Food

Some food delivery services demand a driver to snap a picture when dropping off the food order in the customer's house. Usually, the picture serves as proof that the order has been delivered.
However, sometimes the delivery photo may show something more amusing than the food package itself.
One particular picture shows a small dog sitting behind a glass door and appearing to look straight at the McDonald's food bag that is left outside. This unusual mixture transformed the delivery photo into something hilarious.

The Dog Was Watching the Whole Thing

From the photo, it can be seen that the dog sits right inside the house while the food order remains outside the glass entryway.
The curious little animal looks directly at the delivery order, suggesting that the dog is watching everything that happens there very attentively.
For any viewer, the look on the dog's face makes one feel like the food order is the most interesting thing about the exterior of the house.

Routine Feature of DoorDash

DoorDash and similar food delivery applications routinely include the photo of the delivery when the order is to be left at the door of the customer.
It means that the driver takes the picture of the place where the order has been delivered in order for the customer to know where the order has been left.
These pictures are a subject of internet humor, since often drivers take pictures of people or pets accidentally, trying to document the delivery of the order. Pictures of odd delivery became a sensation online.

Dog Steals the Show

Even though the picture was probably taken with the aim of documenting the delivery of the food, the dog becomes the center of attention.
The little dog is standing behind the window, whereas the McDonald's bag is standing right in front. The image in the reflection seems to be of the person taking the picture, which makes the picture even funnier.
Instead of being just a picture of the delivery, the photo seems to be an animal picture.

*Why Pet Encounters Create Humorous Delivery Photos

When pets encounter an approaching individual to their house, especially when the individual is carrying something which smells of food, they often react with curiosity.
Therefore, a delivery man delivering goods at the doorstep can present a humorous encounter with the pet who observes everything from inside.
The dog here seems to be aware of the visitor and the food carried by him and produces humor out of his curiosity.*

Surprises Always Make Internet Users Happy

Such photos usually go viral as they are highly relatable and do not need any special explanations.
Those who order food will definitely relate to the idea of waiting for their delivery, and those who have pets know that animals get excited when their food arrives. Both events are featured in the photo.
