A golden retriever known as Bear is safe at home after having gone through a scary experience in Plainfield, Illinois.The four-year-old dog had disappeared after he got scared by someone who came to talk to him from out of his family’s house. Bear allegedly got scared and ran onto the street and got hit by two cars and disappeared near the DuPage River.Bear’s owners McKinley and Sebastian Sochacki did not waste any time in looking for him.

Going into the direction of the bark, he saw Bear stuck on the other side of the river with his collar entangled in a branch.Bear had been in a precarious spot since the water level was increasing all the time.
With the help of family members, Underwood swam to the dog and rescued him.

Bear was brought to a nearby veterinarian following his rescue for evaluation.

  • Fever.
